Penberth is a quiet hamlet, nestled in a sheltered valley, leading down to the fishing cove, with about 10 traditional stone cottages scattered along its length, and surrounded by National Trust owned woodlands and cliffs.

This charming cottage some 200 yards from Penberth Cove water front and slipway has been in the same family ownership for nearly 100 years  and has recently undergone  major improvements. The accommodation is 2 double bedrooms (one with ensuite shower), one bedroom with 2 single beds, and one bunk room. Sleeping 8 comfortably, there is in addition a family bathroom and a downstairs shower room. The kitchen/dining room (with Aga) is very large, with a separate utility room, and a cosy sitting room with a log burner.

Outside there is plenty of parking and a large attractive garden with  the Penberth stream on one boundary and large flat lawn areas, ideal for childrens' games. There are views of the cliffs on either side of Penberth Cove, and of the sea, from the garden and there is a secluded patio and part covered area, with barbecue, which is a real sun trap for evening al fresco dining area outside the kitchen. Enjoy a quiet and peaceful walk down to the Cove or stroll up the Penberth valley in the evening, when the day is done.
